Nutrition Services It is the mission of the Nutrition Department to prepare and transport nutritious food that tastes good in a safe manner that will help children and clients improve or maintain their health. LEO, Inc. serves mostly low-income families and works with statewide agencies to aid families in our catchment area to identifying nutritional concerns and emerging issues and address these issues before it becomes a national issue. An example of this is that Lynn has been identified as a city with a high incidence of children with high lead levels. At LEO, Inc. we work with the Lead Preventions Programs to identify and then work with families to help bring down those lead levels |
