Child Development Programs

Children who attend LEO Head Start or LEO Head Start Partnership classrooms and the LEO School Age Programs participate in a variety of educational activities.  These classroom experiences provide a head start to children 3 to 12 years old.

  • Inclusive pre-school and school - 8 classrooms.
  • Nutritionally and Culturally diverse meals.
  • Transportation for many children.
  • Health and dental assessment and follow up of preschoolers.
  • Family advocacy.
  • Education and training opportunities for parents.

We serve the communities of Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Nahant, Saugus, and Swampscott.  Your family would need to meet eligibility guidelines in order to participate in the program.  The preschool program has 2 programs, one is full time for working parents and the other is a half day program.  There are 2 school age programs that are year around programs they service children during school part time (for 4 hours a day) and full time (10 hours a day) during vacation weeks and summer months.
